BG Studio Legale was founded in 2017 to meet a concrete need: giving foreign citizens and companies in Italy a lawyer who understands them — in language and in substance. Today we handle cases for individuals and businesses from Bulgaria and Eastern Europe, at every stage: from the first advice to court proceedings.
Our aim is personalised assistance, built around each client's needs, with a direct and honest dialogue from the very first meeting. We take care of the details of every single case, with method and genuine attention to the person.
The story of the firm is the story of its founder. Having moved to Italy from Bulgaria to study law, lawyer Boryana Gospodinova experienced first-hand the obstacles foreigners face: integration, bureaucracy, cultural differences. From that experience came a conviction — knowing and defending your rights abroad is essential — and a choice: to work for those facing the same difficulties, citizens and companies from Eastern Europe who need to protect their rights in Italy.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, she graduated in law from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2013 and founded BG Studio Legale in 2017. A member of the Pesaro Bar Association, she assists companies, entrepreneurs, investors and individuals from Bulgaria and Eastern Europe. She is the author of the digital book "Tutela i tuoi diritti in Italia".
Legal counsel · qualified lawyer in Bulgaria
A law graduate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", with a study period at the University of Milano-Bicocca, she qualified for the Bulgarian Bar in 2011. Based in Italy since 2010, she has particular experience in employment law, transport, inheritance and debt recovery. Between 2016 and 2018 she advised Bulgarian and Chinese companies in Shenzhen on commercial and legal matters.
External legal counsel · Russian-speaking clients
A graduate of Moscow State University of Law "O. E. Kutafin", she began her practice at the Moscow courts, where she gained experience in arbitration proceedings and focused in particular on disputes, both out of court and in court. She has worked for banks, law firms and for the Deposit Insurance Agency, the Russian state body that guarantees bank deposits. It is experience that has given her a deep understanding of people facing difficult situations, such as a breach of contract or the recovery of a debt.
She also has significant experience in family law and international succession: she assists partners, spouses and family members in Italy in Russian, both out of court and in negotiations. She has served as a court-appointed technical consultant (CTU), the expert appointed by the judge, and as an interpreter at the Court of Bologna. A native Russian speaker and fluent in Italian, she offers Russian-speaking clients — for example from Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan — legal assistance they can understand at every step, which greatly reduces the stress of facing proceedings in a foreign country.
Trainee · University of Turin
A student at the University of Turin in the "Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies" degree programme, she has developed skills in international law, with a particular interest in European and transnational law. At the firm she works on civil-law matters with international aspects, both in the pre-litigation stage of disputes and in support of court action. She has taken part in conferences and training programmes run by ELSA, the European law students' association, on international economic law, intellectual property and copyright. She also has a good knowledge of French.
Trainee · University of Plovdiv
She graduated in Law from the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski", in Bulgaria, in 2024. During her studies she discovered a passion for protecting people's rights and for the fight against human-rights violations. She has completed several internships at notary offices and offices of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bulgaria, gaining experience in several areas of law: above all family law, succession law and administrative law, as well as criminal law.
