Italian lawyer for foreigners: how our advice works

Yes. BG Studio Legale works in Italian, English and Bulgarian: these are the languages in which the lawyer speaks and writes to you directly. If your language is not one of these, English is the working language with foreign clients. We do not offer assistance in other languages.

Yes. BG Studio Legale is based in Pesaro and assists clients throughout Italy, as well as in Bulgaria and San Marino. Most of the work is handled remotely, by video call and email; when needed, the lawyer appears before the court with territorial jurisdiction.

No. You can be assisted even if you live abroad: most civil law matters start with a power of attorney, and we tell you how to sign it from abroad in the form the case requires. Documents and correspondence travel by email, in Italian, English or Bulgarian.

Choose what you need and, if you wish, a day and a time; then describe your case and send your request. The firm confirms the time by email; the 30-minute consultation is by video call, in the language you choose. If you go ahead, you sign a power of attorney and BG Studio Legale can handle the matter remotely.

It depends on the type of issue and the work involved. Before any engagement you receive a written quote — it is a legal requirement in Italy — setting out the fee and foreseeable expenses. In your first message, tell us what you need and we will confirm the cost and terms of the consultation.

In English, Bulgarian or Italian — your choice: the lawyer speaks to you directly, without intermediaries. Documents and correspondence can also be handled in your language. Whenever a technical Italian legal term comes up, we always explain what it means, so that every decision truly remains yours.

Thirty minutes. The time is used to examine the facts, read the key documents and give you a first concrete assessment. If the matter needs further work, we agree on the next steps together.

For a first review, the essential documents are enough: contracts, invoices, correspondence, any court papers you have received. If you do not have everything, that is not a problem: during the consultation the lawyer tells you exactly what is needed and how to obtain it, including from Italian or Bulgarian authorities.

You receive a link by email and connect at the agreed time from your computer or smartphone: no special software is needed. The conversation is as confidential as it would be at the office. If a connection is not possible, the consultation can take place by phone or email, with the same guarantees.

By email. The confirmation comes from the firm, not from the website: the lawyer first checks that the engagement can be accepted, for example that there is no conflict of interest. That is why we do not state a fixed time. The time you chose stays reserved for you for 48 hours: if the confirmation does not arrive within that time, the slot becomes available to others, but your request remains and we get back to you to arrange a new one.
